This is one of the Make & Takes I made last month when I went to Milwaukee to On Stage.  Of course, those of you that know me, know I changed it from the sample card.  I always use the supplies I'm suppose to, but I rearrange & change things- as I'm not good at copying a card.  I just like to make it my own style.

Stampin' Up! is offering an Early Release Product Suite this month.  This card is made using alot of the products in this suite.  It is called the 'Share What You Love' Suite & there are 3 different sized bundles that you can order.  CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THESE 3 BUNDLES!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  Trey & I ran a few errands yesterday morning, after we dropped of the twins at school.  Sarah brought Masen & Ainslee as soon as I got home.  The 3 big boys rode the bus out after school, so it was good to see them.  After everyone left, I worked on stamping stuff all night.  And Deke worked late on the farm.

This morning we are both up early & headed out the door, as we are selling hogs.   Hopefully the semi is on time & all goes smoothly there.  I'll help Deke with the pigs & then spend my day with the 2 little ones- Masen & Ainslee.  Tonight the guys have talked about going racing.  We'll see how the weather is & how everyone's day goes.  I will be home stamping tonight- getting ready for my May classes, as I have my first one of the month on Sunday with my N. Liberty group!

Gotta run........
I hope you have a FABULOUS Friday!!
Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  I went to an old employee's visitation last night.  And was then headed to the races, but didn't make it that far.  Due to the storms we had, the races were cancelled for last night.  So I went home & waited for Deke to get back with the truck/trailer/race car.  And we went to Osky to do a night deposit & get a few things at Walmart.  I worked on sorting orders & doing bookwork for awhile when we got home.

This morning I'm up & headed out to pick up the boys.  I'll take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight the 3 big boys will ride the bus here.  When everyone is gone I'll be working on stamping stuff all night.

I hope you have a great Thursday!!

Yesterday was a busy day with my kids.  Last night Masen & Ainslee ate supper with us- as Nathan & Sarah were both working late.  When they went home I picked up toys, answered a few emails, sent some information to those in my downline, did my blog post & called it a night.  Deke worked late too.....and I was already in bed when he got in.

This morning we are both up early.  I've got boxes of stamp orders to get work on getting them sorted.  And Deke is off to chore, as he has a couple of meetings today.  I'll head to town to get the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Tonight we'll all be headed to Osky to the races (if they don't get rained out)!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON INK PADS!

Current Update Details from Stampin' Up!

Tuesday, May 01, 2018

Old-Design Ink Pad Availability

In addition to a new lineup of colors, we've also redesigned our ink pads this year. With so much change, we wanted to make sure demonstrators and your customers are aware of some important dates and how you'll be affected.
  • Through May 7: Old-design Classic Stampin' Pads are guaranteed to be available for purchase through May 7. If an ink pad goes on backorder during this time, the order will be fulfilled.
  • After May 7: Old-design Classic Stampin' Pads (both retiring and carryover) will no longer be guaranteed and will be available while supplies last.
    • Once a retiring colors run out of stock, the old-design ink pad item numbers will be shut off.
    • To ensure ongoing availability of colors that are carrying over, we will turn on new-design ink pad item numbers when we run out of stock on old-design ink pads. (Important note: New-design ink pads are priced slightly differently than old-design ink pads; please keep the new pricing in mind when ordering new-design ink pads.)

How you will know which ink pad you're ordering?
    • For Demonstrators placing orders- If an old-design ink pad runs out of stock, you will receive a message in Order Entry Express asking if you would like to order the new-design ink pad (in the same color) instead.
    • For Customers placing an Online Ordering- If the old-design ink pad runs out of stock, you (as a customer) need to contact me (your demonstrator) asking what to do if the old-design ink pad has sold out on a carryover color- as I need to then give you the new-design ink pad item code so you can finish your order.
Don't hesitate to CONTACT ME with any questions or help you may need on this matter.

Happy Birthday to Brayden!! And a NEW Catalog Sneak Peek!

Awhhhh.......it is so much fun playing with NEW products!  Check out these awesome alphabet edgelits that will be available on June 1st in the NEW Annual Catalog.  They are called the Layering Alphabet Edgelits.

This is card that I created for my Spring Fling I had last weekend.  I had all of the letters cut for everyone & they just had to do a little stamping & then assemble it.  It was a cool thing to share!  And I think everyone liked it.

And this is also the card that Brayden got last night at his birthday party from Grandma & Papa.  Today he is actually 10 years old!!  I can't believe it.  Where does the time go?  He loved his card (& probably the money in it more).  I created this card using these colors with him in mind!
The Tempting Turquoise color I used here is retiring!  Have you stocked up on it if it is one of the colors that you want to continue to use?

stamp set:  'Confetti Celebration'-RETIRING
card stock:  Tempting Turquoise-RETIRING, Pool Party, Pacific Point, Bermuda Bay
ink: Pacific Point
other:  Bit Shot, Magnetic Platform, Layering Alphabet Edgelits- NEW on June 1st, Classic Label Punch, Dimensionals, Glue Dots
Check it out!  I cut out the "Y" by itself like this.   I just had to snip the top left corner with my Paper Snips, so that we could have it separate & adhere it to the front of the word.
And this is what the framelit set itself looks like that cuts out the V shape with the alphabet connected to it.  The letters just hook into the slots.  It is pretty cool!!  They lined up perfectly when I used a 3x3 of card stock to cut it from.
I also wanted to share an old Crimpled Paper technique that I did when I first stamping over 18 years ago.  Back then we didn't have the Big Shot- so we created our background with ink.
How did I do i?
  • I just took a 3x3 piece of typing paper
  • scrunched it up
  • pushed it into my ink pad
  • & then stamped it onto my paper!
It just gives a textured look & some added depth & dimension to the card.
You'll have to give this 'old' & fun crimpled paper technique a try!
++++++++
Yesterday was a busy day with Masen & Ainslee.  Brody & Brayden were here after school.  We all then went to Nathan & Sarah's home for supper to celebrate Brayden's 10th birthday.

This morning I'm off to town to get the boys, take the twins to school & spend my day with the 3 little ones.  Deke is home work on the farm all day.  Tonight when everyone is gone home I have lots of stuff to get unpacked & put away from my Spring Fling class I had this past weekend.

Gotta run......
I hope you have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!!
And Happy May Day!!!
I'm gonna make May Day baskets with the boys- so hope that goes well & is fun!

Happy Stamping!

Yesterday was a LONG day!  I was up early & headed to South English to clean up from my Spring Fling.  I was there until 3:30 & then came to work on the farm with Deke for 1 1/2 hours.  We hurried in to shower & made it just in time to Brayden's soccer game at 6:00.  From there we went back to South English to finish cleaning & packing everything up to bring home.  Thankfully Deke helps vacuum & put back the tables & chairs.  We walked in the door to our house about 9:20.  I got the car partially unloaded while Deke went out to check pigs & shut doors.  We were both beat & needed to get some sleep.
So this morning I'm up early to finish getting things unloaded & moved out of our family room- to get ready for the kids &  I'll spend my day with them.  Deke is off early to chore & head to the office for his weekly board meeting.  He'll work on the farm all afternoon & then tonight we are going to Nathan & Sarah's home for supper- to celebrate Brayden's 10th Birthday! So it will be a fun evening with our family.

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a MARVELOUS Monday!
Happy Stamping!

And I'm off to finish cutting my 12 x12 Spring Sampler, get my car loaded & head out.

I have a great group of friends joining me to stamp today.  I just can't wait!!  They will be going home with lots of cards & a 12x12 framed sampler.  And it is especially exciting to have made several of  these projects with NEW products from the upcoming Annual Catalog that starts on June 1st!  When I attended On Stage earlier this month I got to pre-order some new things since I was an attendee at this event.  So I've had a great time getting to play & use new things for today's class.  And I can't wait to see & hear what everyone thinks of them.

And I'm especially excited that I have a special guest joining us at my Spring Fling for awhile today.  My dear demonstrator friend- Sharon McNeeley, from Indiana, will be coming to stamp with us for awhile today too.  We are super excited that she & her husband Mike, are making a special stop to visit Deke & I, on their way to a wedding that they are attending in Iowa later today.  Mike will drop Sharon off at my class & then head to our house to visit Deke.  Mike wants to check out our pigs,  see Nathan's race car & shop & then they'll go to see the boys play soccer for awhile too.  After that, Mike & Deke are coming to eat lunch with all of us at my Spring Fling.  As Deke & I made shredded pork, cheesy potoates & a layered lettuce salad last night for our lunch at my class today. Yummy!

Gotta run.....
I hope you have a SUPER Saturday!!

Here is a bright Spring card!  I used the cute, 'A Good Day' stamp set on page 17 in the Occasions Catalog.  I love the coordinating Scalloped punches that go with it.

This stamp set also coordinates with the Mini Embroidery Hoops.  And check out the doily behind it all.  It is actually one of the Metallic Foil Doilies that I turned over & used the white back side of it.

The little Bitty Bow is a pre-tied one!  It is felt & super cute & easy to add that little extra touch.
This is another one of the cards that everyone joining me tomorrow for my Annual Spring Fling will be making.

Yesterday was a busy day with the kids.  I made a quick trip to the races & got there too late to even see Nathan's heat.  He got 2nd.  And I left the races as soon as the Stock Cars were done.  Nathan got 2nd in the main too!  He looked good for his first night out with that car.  The stands had a big crowd & the pits had a lot of cars in it.  It was great to see so many local people coming out to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Osky for their season opener race.  I hope he has a good race season again this year.

When I got home from the races, I burnt the midnight oil cutting card stock!!

We have a crazy day again.......and we are up early this morning & on the go.  Deke is off to chore & then be gone all day, as he has 4 meetings!!  He has 2 meetings this morning in Ottumwa.  One for 10-15 & then he'll have the RPA 15 Policy Board Meeting.  This afternoon he has an executive board meeting in Fairfield for Pathfinders.  And he'll have to hurry back to Sigourney for a 6:30 meeting at the Memorial Hall for a town meeting about RAGBRAI.  When he finally gets home he'll have to go out to chore & feed all of the pigs.  So he's gonna have a really long day today.
I'm going to try to get some more cardstock cut before I head out to Manda's home this morning.  I'll take the twins to school, run a couple of errands in town & then spend my day with the 3 little ones.  The 3 big boys will ride the bus here after school tonight too.  Manda has a late class tonight & Steve is working late on a paving project, so the boys will be hanging out with me for awhile.  I'll be burning the midnight oil again tonight cutting card stock!

I hope you have a great Thursday!!!
